Tobisvik beach stand out among the nearby beaches due to its coarse-grained sand. This sand has been mined in parts of the area. The beach is easy to access and just north of the town Simrishamn. Thus, it is one of the busiest beaches during summer months. There is a well-kept campsite adjacent to the beach. The wide beach is sloping towards the open sea and at our last visit the air was filled with the characteristic smell of Ocean. Small pine trees line the beach. The scenery is natural towards the north and in the south you see the small town and harbor of Simrishamn embedded in green vegetation. Note that when the wind direction is towards land strong currents can be created in the sea.
From this beach you can access the Skåneleden trail and hike along the coast southwards all the way to Ystad. - See more at: http://loveforbeaches.com/beaches/rorum-knabackshusen#sthash.4tleEhAe.dpuf
