Sibbarp barnviken is a small shallow bay with man-made rocky features just south of Sibbarp beach. The northernmost section is designed to be safe for small children. Water quality here however has been poor for several consecutive years thus it is not recommended for swimming. The sea bottom is a mix of sand and gravel close to the shore and then gradually becomes more and more muddy. Healthier waters and more amenities are found at the adjacent Sibbarp beach. From Sibbarp barnviken bay you have a nice view over the mighty Öresund bridge. There are large lawns in the area where you can play and make barbecue. The bay is very sensitive to contamination. Thus, it is important to limit the exposure to human and animal faeces.
