"Long sandy beach with pier adjacent to a large grass field"
Rydebäck beach is located south of Helsingborg. Take off from the main road (Landskronavägen or the freeway) to follow Ytterövägen to the coast. Here you will find a long beach lined by shrubs and a huge field available for recreation. The beach is disabled-friendly with equipment that facilitates enjoying the water (such as a ramp). There is also a section of this beach where dogs are allowed to swim. The sand is mixed with gravel. The bottom is beautifully rippled by the calm waves. There is a pier that enables getting further out in the shallow waters. Frequently there is some seaweed and algae on the beach and in the water. From the beach one can see many ships passing by in the sound. Towards the south along the beach are settlements and towards the north one views Råå marina.
