"Vast nudist friendly sandy beach lined by relaxing pineforest"
Lyckesand beach is part of Öland’s longest stretch of sand. It is located 2 km from the main road along a narrow road (if you come from the south turn to the right just after the entrance to Böda Sand) so it's easiest to reach by bike or car. From the parking lot it requieres a further walk over a long wooden boardwalk through a beautiful open old pine forest over sandy soils. Sand dunes dressed in mint green grass line the sloping beach, which face open shallow waters over a sandy bottom rippled by the calm waves. The beach is located in a natural reserve and the view is natural in both directions. Just north of the main part of the beach is a section for nudists. Lyckesand is quiet and offers few amenities, for a more head slightly southwards along the bay to Böda sand. If you on the contrary would enjoy an even more natural setting head northwards.
