Kyhls beach (northern part) is a long, wide, quiet and fine-grained sandy beach. It is rather flat and lined by low grassy sand dunes and further inland pinetrees. The water is clear and the calm waves have created ripples on the soft sandy bottom. Some seaweed is usually present in the water and on the beach. The scenery is natural towards both north and south. Bring something to provide shade for your stay at the beach. Kyhls beach is part of a ca 12 km long stretch of sand that includes several good spots for swimming. Some of the other spots further south along this stretch are Borrby strand, Mälarhusen and Sandhammaren. Note that strong currents prevail in the water especially when the wind direction is towards land. Thus, although the water is shallow the beaches on the northern part of the coast are more suitable for children.
From this beach you can access the Skåneleden trail and hike along the coast northwards to Skepparp or southwards all the way to Ystad. - See more at: http://loveforbeaches.com/beaches/tobisvik#sthash.hbecF7Is.dpufDogs and horses are not allowed on the beach during high season (1 of June to 31st of August).
