Kämpinge beach is located in Kämpinge Bay just east of the canal that separates Skanör-Falsterbo peninsula from the mainland of Skåne. There are several parking areas, the largest one is located close to the canal. In high season there is a fee for parking and it can be difficult to find a spot if not arriving early. A good option is to take the bus or bike. The beach is composed of fine white sand. Grassy sand dunes, shrubs and deciduous trees line the coast as well as a large number of small colorful bath cabanas. There are several boardwalks along the beach that leads down to the water from the sand dunes. The water is very shallow, a pier facilitates getting out a bit further in the bay. Towards the west are large canal constructions (rock piers) while towards the east the setting is more natural.
✓ Try water sports in the eastern part of the beach or go fishing by the canal ✓ Look for amber gemstones - if you don’t manage to find one head to the nearby Amber museum ✓ Visit Falsterbo bird observatory, a well-renowned site for watching migrating birds
