"Small gravelly beach with two piers & grassy field"
Hittarp is a very small beach north ofHelsingborg. It consists of two piers extending from a small sandy beach lined by a grass field. It is a small marina with very limited boat traffic. The flat sandy beach is mixed with gravel and crushed shells and the sea bottom is also gravelly in the near shore section. There are two cement piers with stairs. Seaweed in the water and on the beach is abundant, especially after windy days. Grass areas and a few deciduous trees line the beach. No shade is provided. Note that the beach north of Hittarp, “Hittarps rev”, is closed for swimming due to insufficient water quality and an abundance of seaweed.
