"Childrens paradise beach - very shallow waters lined by low sand dunes"
Farhultsbaden beach is located in a bay and lined by low grassy sand dunes and further inland deciduous trees. The beach is known for its very shallow waters. It is thus a fantastic beach for child play - there is also a fine playground. The beach is free of vegetation so bring something to provide shade. The sand has some gravel mixed in it and there are some larger rocks dispersed on the sea bottom. Overall the bottom is sandy and rippled by calm wave action. There may be some non-toxic jellyfish and minor amount of seaweeds and algae. The view is natural with some minor settlements. You may have a coffee and a meal in a nearby café.
