Domsten marina is a beach along a residential area located just north of Domsten marina. There are in fact four different beaches in Domsten including, apart from this one, Talldungen, Domsten (south) and Domsten (north). The sand is fine but near shore sea bottom is gravelly and there is a scattered abundance of cobbles, rocks and boulders. The water is shallow and clear over a soft and rippled sandy bottom. There is a robust pier with stairs down the water. Seaweed in the water and on the beach is frequent, especially after days with North winds. Grass and shrubs line the beach, no shade is provided. There are nice views over the Sound, the Danish coastline and passing ships. Should you be in need first aid it is available in the kiosk.
From this beach it is possible to hike along Skåneleden Trail northwards along the coast all the way to Höganäs or southwards to the city (Helsingborg). An area of approx. 100 meters between the marina and the northern Domsten beach is open for dogs. Apart from this section designated for dog swim, dogs are not allowed on the beach between 1st of may and 30th of September. No camping is allowed.
