About

"Tiny rocky beach in a picturesque fishing village"

Arild is a small fishing village characterized by its marina, traditional fishing gear, sleepy atmosphere and cute houses spread out on the hill overlooking the Sea. Fishing activities here date back to the 16th century. Reflect on the past while watching small ships and boats pass by and activities in the small marina. Trekking in a wonderful natural reserve, diving and exploring fascinating caves are all nearby activities. A mixture of cliffs, rocks and cobbles composes the beach in Arild. Seaweed is abundant. Look out for slippery, sharp and submerged rocks. Arild beach is not an official place for swimming. It is advisable to visit nearby Tussan (north) or the cold bath house (south) if you want to get wet. Note: Always check with the local tourist office before trekking to ensure trails are in good condition.
